Job Description

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Managing Production Schedule on a daily basis
  • Monitoring, analyzing and investigating discrepancies in finished products received from the Production Department
  • Ensuring the timely delivery of Inventory to retail outlets
  • Monitoring stock levels and requesting for items through the Procurement Officer, to prevent overstocking and Understocking
  • Developing, Implementing and Managing the Stores Department’s record keeping system to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Research and Development towards improving the Stores and all the Departments under the Manager
  • Monitoring and Investigating damages incurred by the retail outlets
  • Implement and maintain efficient storage systems for raw materials, packaging, and finished goods in compliance with food safety standards.
  • Conduct regular stock inspections, identify discrepancies, and report on inventory levels to management.
  • Participate in regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
  • Any other assigned task

Qualifications & Documents

  • A minimum of bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration or any related field
  • A minimum of 3 years working experience as a Stores Officer/Manager, preferably in the food industry
  • Exhibit strong organizational skills to efficiently oversee and optimize storage systems for raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
  • Ability to analyze and handle complex situations
  • Ability to multi task, prioritize, work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Attention to details and excellent problem solving ability
  • Demonstrate effective leadership and team management skills to lead a diverse team of store personnel and collaborate with other departments.
  • Exhibit proficiency in using inventory management software and technology to maintain accurate and up-to-date records of stock levels and transactions.
  • Display a keen understanding of food safety regulations and compliance to ensure the proper handling and storage of perishable items.
