Job Title: Store/Warehouse Manager

Location: Tema

Salary: GHS Tema

Reports To: The CEO and Operations & procurement Coordination

Position Type: Full Time

Job Summary

Inventory Management:

  1. Oversee the accurate receiving, storing, and issuing of products (raw materials to production and finished goods to the shops).
  2. Maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent stockouts or excess inventory.
  3. Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
  4. Ensure the safe handling of inventory items.
  5. Implement and maintain inventory control systems.

Warehouse Operations:

  1. Supervise daily store activities, including receiving, and organizing stock.
  2. Ensure the efficient and safe use of store space and equipment.
  3. Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for store operations.
  4. Coordinate with suppliers and logistics partners to manage inbound and outbound shipments.

Team Management:

  1. Lead, train, and develop store staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  2. Assign tasks and monitor performance to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  3. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.

Safety and Compliance:

  1. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  2. Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
  3. Maintain clean and organized warehouse and store facilities to minimize hazards.
  4. Train staff on safe handling and storage practices.

Process Improvement:

  1. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance warehouse and store operations.
  2. Utilize store management systems to streamline operations and improve accuracy.
  3. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement strategies to achieve targets.

Service:

  1. Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment to shops to meet customer expectations.
  2. Address and resolve any issues related to warehouse operations and shop.
  3. Collaborate with other departments (e.g., quality assurance and marketing) to ensure seamless operations.
  4. Any other assigned task

Qualifications & Documents

1. A bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
2. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in store or warehouse management or a similar role.
3. Proven experience in managing store operations, inventory control, and logistics.
4. Strong leadership and team management skills.
5. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
6. Proficiency in inventory management and logistics software.
7. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
8. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
10. Physical demands such as lifting, walking, and standing for extended periods may be required.
11. Work hours may include evenings, weekends, and holidays, especially during peak periods.
