Job Title: Shift Leader

Location: Tema, East Legon and Haatso

Salary: GHS Tema, East Legon and Haatso

Reports To: Shop Supervisor

Position Type: Full Time

Job Summary

  1. Operational Support: Assist the Restaurant Supervisor in managing daily operations to maintain efficiency and consistency during service. Lead and direct team members during shifts to ensure a smooth flow of operations, from food preparation to customer service. Ensure all tasks are completed according to company policies, quality standards, and health & safety regulations.
  1. Customer Service: Deliver outstanding customer service, addressing any issues or special requests professionally and efficiently. Monitor customer satisfaction levels during the shift, handling complaints promptly and escalating issues when necessary. Ensure that customers receive orders promptly and accurately, creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
  1. Team Leadership: Motivate and guide team members during the shift, fostering a positive, cooperative work environment. Train new staff members on operational procedures, customer service standards, and food preparation techniques. Encourage team members to follow best practices and model excellent customer service skills.
  1. Quality Control: Ensure that food preparation, portion control, and presentation meet company standards. Regularly check that ingredients, stock, and supplies are fresh, adequately stocked, and organized. Uphold cleanliness standards, ensuring that food handling, preparation areas, and dining spaces are sanitary and well-maintained.
  1. Administrative Duties: Assist in maintaining records of inventory, stock levels, and supplies, reporting shortages to the Shop Supervisor. Monitor cash handling, register transactions, and conduct end-of-shift reports as required. Assist the supervisor in planning schedules, breaks, and shift coverage based on peak hours and business needs.

Qualifications & Documents

• Education: HND/ Diploma or equivalent; additional training in hospitality or management is a plus.
• Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a fast-food or quick-service restaurant setting.
• Skills:
o Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle customer inquiries and team interactions professionally.
o Organizational and multitasking abilities to manage and prioritize tasks effectively.
o Basic knowledge of food safety and health regulations.
o Proficiency in using POS systems and other basic computer skills.
