Job Title: Sales and Marketing Officer

Location: Tema, East Legon and Haatso Shop

Salary: GHS Tema, East Legon and Haatso Shop

Reports To: Sales and Marketing Team Leader

Position Type: Full Time

Job Summary

Sales and Customer Engagement: Actively engage with customers, offering product information and recommendations to drive sales. Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, schools, and community organizations to increase foot traffic. Coordinate in-store promotions, loyalty programs, and product launches to enhance customer experience. Monitor sales targets and develop strategies to achieve or exceed these goals in collaboration with the Team Leader.

Marketing and Brand Promotion: Implement marketing initiatives, including social media campaigns, promotional events, and local advertising, in line with the company’s branding. Generate ideas for content creation and support digital marketing efforts by taking photographs, creating posts, and responding to customer inquiries online. Conduct local market research to understand trends, competitors, and customer needs, providing insights and feedback to the Team Leader. Collaborate with the marketing team to align outlet-specific promotions with broader brand campaigns.

Operations and Reporting: Report weekly sales and marketing activities, providing insights on customer trends and feedback to the Team Leader. Track and analyze the performance of marketing initiatives to determine their effectiveness. Ensure that branding materials, signage, and promotional materials are displayed correctly in the outlets.

Qualifications & Documents

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• Experience: 1-2 years of experience in sales or marketing, ideally within the food or retail industry.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing basics.
• Results-driven, with the ability to meet sales targets and deadlines.
• Ability to work independently at the outlet with occasional travel to other locations.
