Job Title: Production Supervisor

Job Summary

  1. Supervise Production Team: Lead and manage a team of kitchen staff, including juice assistants, baking assistants, and kitchen assistants. Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure team members perform at their best.
  1. Production Planning: Plan and organize daily production schedules based on customer demand, inventory levels, and menu requirements. Coordinate with the management team to ensure optimal resource allocation.
  1. Quality Control: Monitor food production processes to maintain consistency, freshness, and quality standards. Conduct regular inspections and implement corrective actions as needed.
  1. Menu Compliance: Ensure that all food items produced comply with menu specifications, recipes, portion sizes, and presentation guidelines. Address any deviations promptly and effectively.
  1. Kitchen Safety: Enforce strict adherence to food safety standards, hygiene practices, and sanitation procedures. Conduct regular inspections of equipment, work areas, and storage areas to maintain cleanliness and compliance with health regulations.
  1. Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels of food ingredients, supplies, and equipment. Coordinate with stores to ensure timely deliveries and accurate stock levels. Minimize waste and optimize inventory usage.
  1. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement, logistics, and management, to streamline production processes, resolve issues, and achieve operational goals.
  1. Performance Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate the performance of production team members. Provide feedback, coaching, and training opportunities to improve skills and efficiency.
  1. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reductions, and quality enhancements. Implement best practices, new techniques, and innovative solutions to enhance overall production efficiency and effectiveness.
  1. Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation as needed.

Qualifications & Documents

1. A degree in food and nutrition, hospitality and catering, family and consumer sciences
2. 2 to 3 years proven experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role in the food industry, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
3. Strong knowledge of food production processes, kitchen operations, and food safety standards.
4. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work effectively under pressure, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
6. Knowledge of inventory management, cost control, and budgeting principles.
7. Familiarity with kitchen equipment, tools, and technologies.
