Specific Responsibilities:

• Managing and coordinating the production team, ensuring that they adhere to safety, quality and efficiency standards
• Ensuring that inventories are properly managed.
• Adhering to standard operating procedures and making sure others do so.
• Adhering to health and safety regulations and making sure others respect them.
• Ensuring equipment are properly managed.
• Communicate information and any changes to the team.
• Addressing production issues, such as equipment malfunction, production staff concerns and finding solutions to them.
• Guiding, training and managing production personnel.
• Collaborating with the stores department and operations department to ensure effective flow of production.
• Ensuring that production activities are carried out in accordance to FDA standards.
• Purchasing of inventory items from vendors during market days.
• Any other assigned tasks.
