Job Summary

  1. Manage Day-to-Day Financial Operations: Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing to ensure smooth financial operations.
  1. Supervise Accounting Staff: Lead the accounting team, including hiring, training, and managing performance.
  1. Ensure Timely Processing: Guarantee accurate and prompt processing of invoices, payments, and expense reports.
  1. 4. Review Financial Transactions: Verify the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of financial transactions with company policies and procedures.
  1. Prepare and Analyze Financial Reports: Assist in creating and analyzing financial statements such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements to identify trends and variances.
  1. Monitor Restaurant Expenses: Track and control expenses to ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines.
  1. Coordinate with Vendors: Work with vendors and suppliers to resolve billing discrepancies and negotiate favorable terms and pricing.
  1. Oversee Inventory Management: Manage inventory processes, including tracking, ordering, and reconciliation.
  1. Collaborate on Cost Control: Partner with management to develop and implement strategies for cost control and revenue optimization.
  1. Cost Analysis for Menu Items: Analyze and calculate the costs associated with each menu item and recipe to ensure accurate pricing and profitability.
  1. Ensure Compliance: Assist in maintaining compliance with relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements.
  1. Tax Filings Assistance: Help prepare and submit tax filings and other required financial documents.
  1. Supervise the Accounting Department and Cashiers: Oversee the accounting department and cashiers at all locations, ensuring adherence to financial policies, accuracy in transactions, and efficient cash management.
  1. Develop Internal Controls: Establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard restaurant assets and mitigate financial risks.
  1. Serve as Financial Point of Contact: Act as the primary contact for financial inquiries and requests from both internal and external stakeholders.
  1. Stay Informed on Industry Trends: Keep up with industry trends and best practices in restaurant accounting, making recommendations for improvements as needed.
  1. Conducting Monthly Random Stock Audits: Perform at least one random stock audit each month to ensure inventory accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  1. Any other assigned task.

Qualifications & Documents

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
3. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
5. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
6. High attention to detail and accuracy.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
